Before writing in, these might already answer your question:

• No account is needed. Satoe-Hub works entirely on your device; there’s nothing to sign in to.
• Sync uses your own iCloud. If your iPhone isn’t signed into iCloud, the app still works — it just won’t sync between devices until it is.
• Calendar access is optional, requested only if you tap “Connect” in Settings → Calendar.
